01 Identifying personal perceptions

Before the Workshop

Think about:

1. Your current writing project (your research article, monograph, or other text you are writing for this course)

2. Your own unique writing process (when you write, how you write, where you write, etc.)

• What exactly is your writing project? Are you writing a theoretical or empirical research paper? Is it a journal article or an article in a conference proceeding?

• Who are your target audience? Who do you want will read your text?

• How are you going to plan and implement the writing process from beginning to end?

• How are you going to keep yourself motivated throughout this writing process?

• Are there any other writing aspects that are important to your own unique writing process?

• What are your writing challenges and strengths?

• What is the role of literature?

• What are the choices of your literature based on?

• How does the inclusion or exclusion of literature strengthen your introduction?

• Are they aware of the literature you include in your text?
